Sophia Campanella

Sophia Campanella is a third-year student-athlete at Ontario Tech University, competing with the Ridgebacks women’s soccer program. She brings a strong competitive mindset and passion for player development both on and off the field.

Prior to her university career, Sophia played for Caledon Soccer Club, where she was part of a highly successful squad that captured back-to-back Ontario Cup Championships. Her team went on to compete at nationals, advancing to the finals and earning a second-place finish in Canada, an experience that shaped her high-performance mindset and passion for the game.

In addition to her playing career, Sophia has built over five years of coaching experience. She began as a Coach with Dixie Soccer Club, where she developed a strong foundation in technical training and player development. She currently serves as the Head Coach of the competitive 2014 Girls team at Oshawa Kicks Soccer Club. In this role, Sophia is committed to fostering confidence, developing technical excellence, and creating a positive, empowering environment for young athletes
