Shane's soccer journey began in his youth, where his talent quickly became apparent. He earned a full scholarship to Robert Morris University (RMU), where he competed as a Division I athlete and honed his skills at the highest collegiate level. Prior to RMU, he played a pivotal role in helping York University’s Lions secure a national championship during his single season in U Sports, laying the foundation for his future in the game.

After graduating, Shane took his talents to the professional stage, competing in Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean Islands. His diverse playing experiences enriched his understanding of the game, exposing him to various styles and strategies that would later inform his coaching philosophy.

Shane’s passion for the sport led him to coaching, where he served as an Assistant Coach at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) for two seasons. During this time, he utilized his extensive knowledge and experience to mentor young athletes, helping them develop both on and off the field.

On the international stage, Shane has contributed to high-performance environments within CONCACAF competitions. He served as a Video Analyst for the Guyana U20 Women’s National Team during the CONCACAF Championships, and as an Assistant Coach and Video Analyst for the Guyana U17 Women’s National Team during the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers. These experiences further strengthened his expertise in tactical analysis, match preparation, and elite player development within international competition.

Shane is currently the Assistant Coach for the Queen’s Men’s Soccer team, where he continues to impact players’ development. A former NCAA Division I athlete and professional player, Shane brings a unique perspective to his coaching. He is also a candidate for both the UEFA B and CONCACAF B licenses, underscoring his commitment to continuous growth and high-level coaching standards.
