Danitza Indacochea is a highly experienced goalkeeper and coach with a strong background in both high-performance play and athlete development. She began her soccer journey with Glen Shields Soccer Club, where she developed her foundational skills, before continuing her youth career with Brams United during her final year of high school.

Danitza went on to compete at the NCAA Division II level with Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, where she played for four years and helped lead the team to two NCAA Tournament appearances. She then completed her final year of eligibility at York University in 2019, contributing to a historic season in which the team captured the OUA Championship, its first in 10 years, and advanced to the U SPORTS National Championship.

At the semi-professional level, Danitza has competed in League1 Ontario with both Durham United and Vaughan Soccer Club, continuing to perform at a high level while expanding her leadership within the game.

With over 10 years of coaching experience, Danitza has worked extensively in player development across multiple age groups and competitive levels. She has led private training sessions and coached youth teams, including Bolton Wanderers (2008 and 2009 age groups) and female development programs over several seasons.

She currently serves as an Assistant Coach in the OPDL program, working across multiple female development programs, and as an Assistant Goalkeeper Coach and trainer with Vaughan Soccer Club.

On the international stage, Danitza has played a key role in high-performance environments as Head Goalkeeper Coach for the Guyana Women’s National Team. She has led and directed goalkeeper training and preparation for major competitions, including the FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifiers (2025), the Concacaf U20 Championship (2025), and the Concacaf U17 Qualifiers in Aruba (2026).

Danitza brings a player-centered approach to coaching, combining her competitive experience with a passion for developing confident, technically strong, and resilient athletes.
